From June 12-14, 2015, Hedone Gallery will be representing the work of 12 studio jewelry artists at Wheaton Arts in Millville, NJ during the biennial GlassWeekend ’15, an International Symposium and Exhibition of Contemporary Glass. Hedone is one of 14 galleries exhibiting at Glass Weekend this year. Here’s a link to the site: Glass Weekend ’15
Hailing from the US, England, Italy, Australia, Germany and Mexico, the artists being presented have never been seen at Glass Weekend. They work in a broad range of styles and techniques to explore glass’ potential for nuances of color, form and reflectivity when cast, enameled, beaded – or interpreted as “Isinglass” or mica. Their jewelry is as diverse and eclectic as they are, ranging from the work of a recent MFA graduate of Pratt Institute in her first group show to internationally known and collected makers working in glass and metal.
